The Whole Child Foundation is a California charitable non-profit, corporation founded in July 2009-2021.  It is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. The federal tax ID number for the foundation (EIN) is 20-3381529.  All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.  The foundation’s mission is to educate, and empower children with chronic pain and their families with the knowledge and practical tools to eradicate their pain.

We believe children have the right to live without pain.  By applying innovative models of treatment that look at the child and their families as a unit, rather than as individual symptoms and conditions, we hope to restore their strength, energy and attitude to live healthy, productive lives.  We want to bridge the gap between what is known and what can be done to prevent debilitating, chronic pain that comes as a result of illnesses and injuries.

We want the world to understand the size of this problem and pursue an agenda focused on:

  • Prevention
  • Access to better, more integrative care
  • Improvement of the quality of life for all pain sufferers
  • Investment in research and practical application
  • Ultimately, transform healthcare policy
